深圳曼彻斯通城堡学校（MIS）是深圳首家纯英式寄宿制国际学校，也是拥有近200年历史的英国著名私立学校——苏格兰曼彻斯通城堡学校的首间海外直属分校。

学校于2018年落地深圳龙华区，秉持“学术卓越，最具温暖”的教学理念，提供从学前班至13年级的纯正英式课程体系。

在2026申请季，深圳曼校实现牛剑双收，G5及港前三名校录取率超70%，成为大湾区首家摘获牛剑录取offer的纯英式国际学校，在2026汇丰·福布斯中国国际化学校评选中，曼校中学部荣膺深圳纯英式赛道第一名，并荣获“深圳卓越外籍人员子女学校”称号（全市仅两所）。

学校已培养了六届数百名优秀学子进入海外顶尖高校深造，毕业生主要留学目的地为英国、中国香港、美国、澳大利亚、加拿大等国家及地区。

深圳曼校现正式启动2026年秋季入学报名工作，具体安排如下：

一、学校开放日与考试日安排：

❥ 7月11日（周六）开放日+考试日

考试地点：深圳市龙华区石龙仔路12号（深圳曼彻斯通城堡学校）

车辆停放：自驾车辆请听从保安引导有序停车，校园内减速慢行。

二、招生对象

4-18岁，广东省内合法居住的外籍人员子女（外籍）和港澳台学生（持港澳台居民居住证）。

三、报名方式

登录官网 www.merchiston.cn → 点击“招生信息” → “在线申请”，填写报名信息。

提交后，招生办将在两个工作日内电话确认。

四、考试流程及注意事项

1. 考试流程

考生请提前15分钟到达 → 签到缴费 → 核验领取准考证 → 进入考场

考试总时长约1小时（机考+面试）

考试期间，家长可参加学校课程说明会，了解课程特色、升学亮点等。

2. 携带资料及物品

①学生的外籍护照

②家长身份证件

③一学年学校报告

④护照照片

考试文具：黑色圆珠笔、水笔、铅笔、橡皮、三角尺、计算器等。

可选补充材料：学校教师推荐信、竞赛奖状、证书等复印件（学校仅收取复印件，原件自行保管）。

如提供第三方英语考试成绩，我校仅参考雅思、托福成绩。

3. 入学考试报名费

2000元。

4. 录取通知与确认

考试结束后1-3个工作日，家长将收到录取通知书的电子邮件，家长需在五天内决定是否接受录取。

五、考试科目

学生机考：剑桥考试局的CEM测试

内容：图形推理、数学、技能、词汇

满分160分，及格参考线100分

测试为自适应模式，题目难度会根据学生答题情况动态变化。

考生英语面试：一对一英文交流，考察考生听力、口语表达、逻辑思维。

家长面试：主要为了解家庭教育理念及家校配合意愿（可使用中文）。

Merchiston International School (MIS) is Shenzhen’s first pure British boarding international school and the first overseas direct campus of Merchiston Castle School, a prestigious independent school in Scotland with a history of nearly 200 years. Founded in 2018 in Longhua District, Shenzhen, MIS is committed to the educational philosophy of “academic excellence with the utmost warmth”, offering an authentic British curriculum from Pre‑School to Year 13.

In the 2026 application season, MIS achieved a double acceptance from the University of Oxford and the University of Cambridge, with over 70% of offers from the G5 universities and the top three universities in Hong Kong. MIS became the first pure British international school in the Greater Bay Area to receive Oxbridge offers. In the 2026 Hurun · Forbes China International School Rankings, MIS Secondary School was ranked first among pure British schools in Shenzhen and was awarded the title of “Shenzhen Outstanding School for Children of Foreign Nationals” (only two schools in the city received this honour).

To date, MIS has sent six cohorts of graduates to top universities around the world, with major destinations including the United Kingdom, Hong Kong (China), the United States, Australia, and Canada.

MIS is now opening applications for the Autumn 2026 intake. Details are as follows:

1. Open Days and Entrance Examination Dates

❥ Saturday, 11 July Whole‑School Open Day + Entrance Exam

Exam Venue: No. 12 Shilongzai Road, Longhua District, Shenzhen (Merchiston International School)

Parking: Please follow the security guards’ instructions for parking and drive slowly on campus.

2. Admissions Target

Aged 4-18, children of foreign nationals legally residing in Guangdong Province (foreign nationality) and students from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan (holding the Residence Permit for Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Residents).

3. How to Apply

Visit the official website: www.merchiston.cn → click on “Admissions” → “Online Application” and complete the registration form.

Once submitted, the Admissions Office will contact you by phone within two working days.

4. Examination Process and Important Notes

4.1 Examination Process

Candidates should arrive 15 minutes early → registration and fee payment → verification and collection of admission ticket → enter the examination hall.

Total examination time: approximately 1 hour (computer‑based test + interview).

During the examination, parents may attend a school curriculum briefing to learn about course features and academic highlights.

4.2 Documents and Items to Bring

Student’s foreign passport

Parent’s identification document

One academic year’s school report

Passport‑sized photograph

Stationery: black ballpoint pen, pen, pencil, eraser, ruler, set square, calculator, etc.

Optional supporting documents (copies only – originals will not be retained by the school): teacher’s recommendation letter, certificates of competition awards, etc.

If providing external English test results, only IELTS or TOEFL scores will be considered.

4.3 Registration Fee for Entrance Examination

RMB 2,000.

4.4 Admission Decision and Confirmation

Parents will receive the admission decision by email within 1–3 working days after the examination. Parents must confirm acceptance within five days.

5. Examination Subjects

Computer‑based test (CEM test from Cambridge Assessment):

Content – graphical reasoning, mathematics, skills, vocabulary.

Maximum score: 160; recommended passing score: 100.

The test is adaptive – the difficulty adjusts dynamically based on the student’s responses.

English interview (one‑to‑one): assesses the candidate’s listening, speaking and logical thinking skills.

Parent interview: mainly to understand the family’s educational philosophy and willingness to cooperate with the school (Chinese may be used).
