2020 MIS Christmas Wonderland Programme
We would like to present to you a fantastic Christmas Winter Camp Programme which blends the culture of the East and West here at MIS during the Christmas holidays.
We have collaborated with talented experts in various fields to organise three different themed Christmas Camps to provide a unique and diversified experience for your child. Your child will have chance to choose to learn about authentic western drama and art with a professional drama teacher/improve their sports ability under the guidance of an expat football coach or practice the traditional Chinese language art led by an experienced Chinese teacher. Here at MIS, these expert teams will encourage your child to explore Chinese and Western Culture with interesting topics and active classes.
Children will have opportunities to learn about different countries and experience the culture behind it, enhancing specific skills in a short period of time, gain more confidence to cope with challenges and learn how to be a successful team member in the future. Parents will be invited on the final day to enjoy a performance.

Mission
· The Drama Camp will learn and perform the musical “An unexpected Christmas visitor”.
· Through drama, young people will build a global community together with confidence, creativity and cooperation.
· The class is experiential, participatory and interesting, where students can enjoy learning and realise their potential.
· On the final day, parents are invited to join the Drama performance.

Chen Chen Zeng
Ms Chen attended Warwick University in the UK obtaining a BA in Psychology and Wuhan University. She completed her Actor Training in the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She was invited to perform in the Odin Theater in Denmark and joined a national academic project in China South Normal University.
Mark Liu
Mark has been working in education with young people for over 8 years. He specialises in applied theatre education and multiple arts.

Mission
· The Chinese Language Art Christmas Experience Camp aims to help students correct their Chinese pronunciation. This will be done by basic Chinese pronunciation and practice, using traditional Chinese language art forms, such as hosting, Allegro, dubbing, Guankou, tongue twister and story telling. This will increase their Chinese literacy, improve their oral expression ability and team cooperation ability, enhance their interest and love for Chinese and Chinese traditional culture.
· On the final day, parents are invited to join the Chinese Performance Show.

Graduated with a broadcasting and hosting major, she has five years of teaching experience in Language performance as a teacher of GDETV. She hosts "The most star children's voice". In 2020, she served as the judge of Shenzhen competition area of China International Children's Film Festival.
Hanze Liu
Graduated from CUC and Hosted the children's channel of SZMG. He is a Member of Shenzhen Musicians Association. He join the 9th Australian International Chinese Film Festival idol.

曼校将在圣诞假期间为孩子们带来一次中西方文化的狂欢！
本次圣诞营，曼校将携手各领域的专家团队，共同组织三种不同的圣诞营提供独特而多样化的体验。
在这里，孩子们将在专业戏剧老师指导下，学习原汁原味的西方戏剧艺术；跟随外籍足球教练提升专业的体育运动技能；在有经验的主持人的带领下，练习极富中国特色的中国语言艺术！
在这里，专业的指导老师将通过生动的课堂、丰富的引导方式及各种有趣的话题，带领孩子们徜徉在中西方文化的海洋，快速提升专业技能、在短时间内培养和训练孩子们的自信心、团队精神以及应对挑战的能力！学习并成为未来专业的团队一员。

目的
· 本次戏剧圣诞营将学习一出来自欧洲的的著名戏剧《意外的圣诞节访客》。
· 通过戏剧课，孩子们将建立信心，发挥自己的创造力和合作能力，共建一个连结的社区。
· 本次戏剧课是学生的全身心投入到课程，课程练习丰富有趣，全方位的激发孩子的的潜力。
· 在本次戏剧圣诞营结束后，我们也将邀请家长来来观看本次戏剧表演。

中国内地首位在国际权威SSCI应用戏剧类期刊RIDE发表文章的青年学者；中国内地首位与英国华威大学Joe Winston教授联合出书《The Applied Theatre Reader》的青年学者；英国华威大学教育戏剧师资培训体系——中国本土化团队负责人；湖南卫视特聘教育戏剧导师，受邀合作拍摄戏剧教育类节目《我们的旅行》。
