在9月27日由高校校友联合平台与深圳文化产权交易所联合主办的“高校校友AI+创新生态高峰论坛”上,“灵境计划”在各界瞩目中正式启动。值得关注的是,深圳曼校学生李思颖作为优秀学生代表,受邀登上启动舞台,共同点亮这一聚焦AI英才培养的重要项目。

启动仅隔一日,北京灵境智慧公益基金会事业发展部主任、钱学森大成智慧教育实践基地副主任孙剑斌带队到访,并将曼校定为全国交流首站,此举充分体现了其对曼校教育理念、学术氛围及学生综合素质的高度认可与特别重视。袁汇校长代表学校表示热烈欢迎,双方围绕“AI育ai爱”的核心理念展开深度对话,就在创新人才协同培养、课程共建、师资交流与公益项目联合开发等领域达成一系列实质性合作意向。

值得一提的是,在此次论坛上,深圳曼校中方校长、兼深圳湾实验室科普中心主任袁汇发表了题为《科学家可以“批量生产”吗?》的主题演讲。她以前沿的科研视角与国际化的教育实践,分享了曼校的核心育人逻辑:“科学家本身不能‘批量生产’,但我们可以批量生产包容试错的环境、激发好奇的场景、支持探索的资源和善于‘点火’的老师——这就是我们致力于为学生营造的‘科学家土壤’。”
袁校长独特的“双栖”身份,使其能将最前沿的科研动态与国际化的基础教育无缝衔接。她在演讲中分享的生动案例,如学生将大脑想象成“记忆图书馆”以理解阿尔兹海默症、在显微镜下发现生命的艺术之美,正是曼校“启发式教育”与“跨界学习”理念的日常体现。

这一理念已被验证为巨大的成功。袁校长在分享中透露:“今年,曼校多名毕业生凭借在深圳湾实验室的顶尖科研实践经历,在全球申请中脱颖而出,成功斩获剑桥大学、帝国理工学院等世界顶尖学府的录取通知书。” 这标志着曼校打破校园围墙,将社会顶尖资源转化为学生“第二课堂”的战略路径取得了显著成效。
通过“科学家进校园”和“学生进实验室”的双向循环,曼校学生得以在高中阶段就接触前沿科学问题,培养真正的科研思维与实践能力,从而在全球顶尖大学的申请中展现出与众不同的竞争力。

袁汇校长表示,从李思颖同学代表学校参与启动,到孙主任团队将首访放在曼校,这不仅是一份信任,更是一次教育理念同频共振的深度携手。与此同时,双方也重点探讨了 “钱学森灵境智慧书屋”项目。曼校将积极参加“灵境计划”,以钱学森“大成智慧”教育思想为指引,以独特的办校水准融通中西的卓越人才培养体系,系统化地帮助学生搭建通往世界顶尖学府的桥梁。
At the "University Alumni AI+ Innovation Ecosystem Summit Forum" co-hosted by the University Alumni Joint Platform and the Shenzhen Cultural Assets and Equity Exchange on September 27th, the "Lingjing Plan" was officially launched amidst significant attention from various sectors. Notably, Li Siying, a student from Shenzhen Merchiston International School, was invited onto the launch stage as an outstanding student representative to help inaugurate this important project focused on cultivating AI talent.

Just one day after the launch, a delegation led by Mr. Sun Jianbin, Director of the Business Development Department of the Beijing Lingjing Wisdom Foundation and Deputy Director of the Qian Xuesen Metasynthetic Wisdom Education Practice Base, visited MIS, designating it as the first stop on their national exchange tour. This move fully demonstrates their high recognition and particular emphasis on MIS's educational philosophy, academic atmosphere, and students' comprehensive qualities. National Head of School Wendy Yuan warmly welcomed the delegation on behalf of the school. The two sides engaged in in-depth dialogue centered around the core concept of "Using AI to Educate, Nurturing with Love," reaching a series of substantive cooperative intentions in areas such as collaborative cultivation of innovative talent, co-development of curricula, teacher exchanges, and joint development of public welfare projects.
Director Sun stated during the exchange that the "Lingjing Plan" is committed not only to enhancing students' AI technical abilities but also to cultivating their scientific literacy, humanistic spirit, social responsibility, and global perspective. The goal is to achieve a complete educational cycle of "Educating People with AI, Inheriting with Love." He particularly emphasized that the collaboration with Merchiston would be a key step in building an AI innovation education system bridging China and the West, aiming to provide a solid platform for the early discovery and systematic growth of top-notch innovative talents.

It is also worth mentioning that at this forum, Wendy Yuan, the National Head of School and also the Director of the Shenzhen Bay Laboratory Science Popularization Center, delivered a keynote speech titled "Can Scientists Be 'Mass-Produced'?". From a cutting-edge scientific research perspective and through international educational practice, she shared MIS's core educational logic: "Scientists themselves cannot be 'mass-produced,' but we can mass-produce an environment that tolerates trial and error, scenarios that spark curiosity, resources that support exploration, and teachers skilled at 'igniting sparks'——this is the 'Scientist Soil' we are committed to creating for our students."
Principal Wendy Yuan's unique "dual-role" identity enables her to seamlessly connect the latest scientific research trends with international basic education. The vivid cases she shared in her speech, such as students imagining the brain as a "memory library" to understand Alzheimer's disease or discovering the artistic beauty of life under a microscope, are daily manifestations of MIS's educational philosophy of "Inspiring Education" and "Cross-Border Learning."
Philosophy Bears Fruit: Top-Tier Research Practice Becomes Students' "Passport" to the World
This philosophy has proven to be a great success. Principal Wendy Yuan revealed in her sharing: "This year, several MIS graduates, leveraging their top-tier research practice experience at Shenzhen Bay Laboratory, stood out in global applications and successfully received offers from world-leading universities such as the University of Cambridge and Imperial College London." This marks the significant success of MIS's strategic approach of breaking down campus walls and transforming top-tier societal resources into students' "second classroom."
Through the two-way cycle of "Scientists Entering the Campus" and "Students Entering the Laboratory," MIS students are able to engage with cutting-edge scientific questions during high school, cultivating genuine scientific research thinking and practical abilities, thereby demonstrating unique competitiveness in applications to the world's top universities.
Co-creating the Future: Building an Ecosystem Evolving from "Technology Empowerment" to "Educating and Transmitting Love"
Principal Wendy Yuan stated that from student Li Siying's participation in the launch on behalf of the school to Director Sun's team choosing MIS for their first visit, this is not only a mark of trust but also a deep collaboration based on the resonance of educational philosophies. Simultaneously, the two sides also focused on discussing the "Qian Xuesen Lingjing Wisdom Study Room" project. MIS will actively participate in the "Lingjing Plan," guided by Qian Xuesen's "Metasynthetic Wisdom" educational philosophy, leveraging its unique school standards and a talent cultivation system that integrates Chinese and Western strengths to systematically help students build bridges to the world's top universities.
