本学年对曼校艺术部而言，是充满创意与成长的一年。我们见证了同学们如何用艺术诠释坚持的力量，用作品展现思想的深度，让整个校园洋溢着蓬勃的艺术气息。

艺术教育的真谛，在于培养完整的人。这一年里，我们不仅注重专业技能的传授，更着力滋养学生的情感韧性与探索精神。在创作实践中，同学们学会观察世界、认识自我，让艺术成为成长的桥梁。

小学部艺术展是今年的亮眼时刻。在Jenna Waters老师的启发下，小朋友们全程参与策展的每个环节——从空间布局到创作自述，从作品讲解到现场互动。这场展览让年幼的艺术家们第一次感受到：自己不仅是学习者，更是艺术世界的创造者。

漫步校园，艺术无处不在。主入口、走廊、教室、公共区域，处处点缀着学生的作品。这种展示方式让创意触手可及：同学们在相互欣赏中获得激励，整个校园因艺术而充满正能量。

年度艺术大展更是将协作精神发挥到极致。不同年级、不同专业的学生齐聚一堂，用作品对话，让个人才华在集体中闪光。

更令人欣喜的是，我们的毕业生成功获得中国香港、中国澳门地区知名院校的录取。这些成就印证了艺术部在培养具有国际视野的艺术人才方面的努力。

展望未来，我们正不断拓展艺术教育的边界。在保持时装与纺织品设计传统优势的同时，新增的摄影课程为同学们开启了全新的表达维度。

有了更多元的艺术学习经历，学生们未来的方向也更清晰了：无论是想在大学攻读艺术、设计，还是建筑、市场营销，现在的积累都能成为他们的底气。或许有人会用镜头定格瞬间，或许有人会把创意缝进衣物，但无论选择哪条路，他们都在一点点打磨技能、拓宽视野，为将来在创意产业积蓄能量。

未来就像一幅待创作的画布，充满了无限可能 —— 大胆、明亮，还藏着无数精妙的设计。

This year has been nothing short of extraordinary for the Art Department—a vibrant testament to the power of creativity, resilience, and community. From bold exhibitions to exciting academic expansions, the department has flourished, leaving a lasting impression on students, staff, and visitors alike.

At the heart of this year’s success lies the school’s holistic approach to education. The Art Department embraced this philosophy by fostering not only technical skill but emotional resilience and intellectual curiosity. Students were encouraged to explore, question, and reflect—developing a deeper understanding of themselves and the world through their artistic practice.

One of the year’s standout moments was the Junior Art Show, where students took full ownership of presenting their work. With the vision of our Juniors Art Teacher Miss Jenna Waters, our students were guided through curating the layout to writing artist statements and engaging with visitors, juniors demonstrated remarkable maturity and pride in their creations. This empowered young artists to see themselves not just as learners, but as contributors to the wider artistic community.

Art became a living part of the school environment, with student work displayed prominently throughout our main entrance, the hallways, classrooms, and communal spaces. This visibility had a powerful impact—students felt seen, celebrated, and inspired by one another. The presence of art in everyday spaces fostered a positive atmosphere and reminded everyone of the creative energy pulsing through the school.

The annual art exhibition was a triumph of collaboration, bringing together students from different year groups and disciplines. It was a celebration not just of individual talent, but of collective imagination.

The department’s influence extended beyond the school walls, with students gaining acceptance into prestigious universities in Hong Kong and Macau. These achievements reflect not only academic excellence but the department’s commitment to nurturing globally-minded artists.

As we look to the future, the Art Department continues to evolve and expand on its strengths. Already renowned for excellence in fashion and textiles, we’ve now added photography to our curriculum—opening exciting new avenues for exploration and expression. This expansion not only enriches the creative experience for our students but also broadens their academic and career prospects.

With a more diverse portfolio, students are now better equipped to pursue university studies in fields such as art, design, architecture, and marketing. Whether they’re capturing moments through a lens or designing wearable art, our students are developing the skills and vision to thrive in the creative industries of tomorrow.

The future is bold, bright, and beautifully designed—and we can’t wait to see where our artists go next.
