Stefan completed his Master’s degree in Chemistry at the University of York, with a year in industry at GlaxoSmithKline in the final year. Throughout the course, Stefan had developed a passion for educating young people through the Scout Association which drove him to pursue a career in teaching. He trained at two schools in the North Yorkshire area before spending three years at a high school in Merseyside, UK. Stefan has run STEM clubs throughout his time working in schools, aiming to engage every student’s inner scientist and inspire them to learn more.

Outside of work, Stefan enjoys keeping fit and various outdoor activities including archery, hiking and skiing.
