Ruth comes from the coastal city of Durban in the eastern region of South Africa. She graduated from the Rhodes University with majors in History and Psychology. She then completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Education and has extensive experience in the History department. Ruth has worked across South Africa as well as in Thailand before deciding to explore China where she has moved with her husband. Ruth has international school experience and has been the head of her History Department for the last 5 years. Ruth is excited to develop students’ historical and language skills needed to excel in History as well as create interesting and exciting subject lessons. She loves to hike and explore nature in her spare time. Her hobbies include art and cooking.
