On August 8, Merchiston International School (MIS) Shenzhen — carrying nearly 200 years of authentic British educational heritage and eight years of established operations in the Greater Bay Area — held the grand launch of its secondary campus, MIS AIPlus School, in Qianhai.

Housed at Building A, Wanlian Mansion in Shekou Net Valley, the venue was formerly the South China headquarters of Apple Inc. The launch event marked the official handover of this landmark building, transforming a global tech giant’s base into a campus for elite British education, ushering in a new mission for the iconic site in Shekou.

For secondary-level learning, we implement tiered general education classes that progressively prepare students for the full IGCSE and A-Level curriculum. The campus fully adopts subject-based block scheduling and independent course selection, organizing academics into three core divisions: Liberal Arts, Natural Sciences, and Social Sciences, with dozens of premium international courses on offer.
