飞行汽车开进学校，老师被学生“扔”进水里？

一边是小鹏汇天带来的前沿航空科技，一边是让全场笑声不断的投球落水挑战。

这里有学生乐团的现场演奏、充气城堡里的欢腾，也有美食、游戏与创意彩绘带来的惊喜。

10月24日，深圳曼彻斯通城堡学校九周年嘉年华，把科技、艺术、美食与游戏装进同一个校园。没有单一的玩法，也不只有一种精彩——这一天，校园变成了一个可以尽情体验、自由探索、放声欢笑的地方。

美食、游戏、充气城堡、脸部彩绘……校园里的每个角落，都有不一样的乐趣。

美食摊位带来舌尖上的满足，趣味游戏吸引着跃跃欲试的挑战者，充气城堡里充满了孩子们的欢笑。彩绘区则成了另一片创意天地，色彩与图案落在孩子们的脸上，让每个人都能带着自己的个性，加入这场特别的庆典。

如果说美食和游戏是嘉年华的快乐底色，那么投球落水挑战，无疑为现场增添了最令人期待的悬念。

老师坐在水池上方的触发座椅上，学生轮番投球，瞄准目标。每一次出手，都让周围的人屏住呼吸；当球成功击中机关，座椅随即触发，老师落入水中，现场顿时欢呼四起。

当然，欢乐不只发生在游戏区。

舞台上，学生合唱团用歌声为学校送上生日祝福，学生乐团也带来了现场演奏。孩子们在舞台上展示才艺，在台下享受音乐；有人认真欣赏，有人跟着节奏感受现场气氛。

从投球命中的欢呼，到乐声响起时的掌声，孩子们既是嘉年华的参与者，也是这场庆典的主角。

这场嘉年华的特别之处，还在于它不只提供传统的游园游戏，更把不同领域的体验带进了校园。

作为本次校庆的特别赞助商，小鹏汇天带来了飞行汽车，并现场展示陆行“母舰”与飞行器自动分离、结合的过程。原本相连的两部分完成分离，让师生得以近距离观看这项航空科技的创新成果。

对于孩子们来说，这不仅是一次观看展示的机会，也是一次接触新鲜事物的经历。当飞行汽车真实地出现在眼前，科技不再只是书本或屏幕里的概念，而成为可以亲眼观察、亲身感受的体验。

汉元航空同样作为本次校庆的特别赞助商参与其中，为嘉年华带来航空主题体验。加上自然科普、创意艺术和新型艺术颜料等内容，现场的体验从航空延伸到艺术，从观察延伸到动手创作。

孩子们可以欣赏飞行汽车的展示，也可以在彩绘中发挥想象；可以参加互动游戏，也可以走进自然科学的世界。航空、科技、艺术、美食与游戏并置于校园，让不同兴趣有了相遇的机会。

九年前，深圳曼校创始人吕建军先生曾看到英国母校校长 Andrew Hunter 拄着拐杖站在校门口迎接学生，熟记每一个孩子的名字。这份发自内心对学生的关爱，成为曼校“以爱育爱”的生动注脚。

Flying car enters school, teacher "thrown" into water by students?

On one side, cutting-edge aviation technology brought to the school by Aridge. On the other, a dunk tank challenge that had everyone laughing. 

Add live performances by the student band, the excitement of an inflatable castle, and plenty of food, games and creative face painting, and you have a celebration full of surprises.

On 24 October, MIS marked its ninth anniversary with a carnival that brought technology, art, food and games together on campus. With so many ways to take part and so much to discover, the school grounds became a place to explore, experiment and, above all, have fun.

Food stalls, interactive games, an inflatable castle and face painting—every corner of the campus offered something different to enjoy.

The food stalls served up tempting treats, while the games drew eager challengers ready to test their skills. The inflatable castle was filled with children's laughter, and the face-painting station became a colourful space for creativity, where every design added a personal touch to the celebrations.

If food and games set the cheerful tone of the carnival, the dunk tank challenge brought one of its most suspenseful—and hilarious—moments.

Teachers took their seats above a tank of water as students lined up to throw balls at the target. Every attempt kept the crowd watching closely. When a ball hit the trigger, the mechanism released the seat and sent the teacher plunging into the water, prompting cheers and laughter all around.

On stage, the student choir sang to celebrate the school's birthday.

while the student band delivered live performances. Students showcased their talents on stage and enjoyed the music from the audience. Some watched attentively; others simply soaked up the atmosphere and rhythm of the occasion.

From the cheers following a successful throw to the applause accompanying the music, students were not just taking part in the carnival—they were at the heart of it.

What made this carnival special was its blend of familiar fairground fun with experiences drawn from a range of different fields.

As a special sponsor of the anniversary celebration, Aridge brought a flying car to campus and demonstrated the separation and reconnection of its ground-based “mothership” and aircraft. The two components, initially connected, separated during the demonstration, giving students and teachers a close-up look at an innovative development in aviation technology.

For students, this was more than simply watching a demonstration. It was an opportunity to encounter something new. Seeing a flying car in person brought technology beyond the pages of a book or the screen of a device and into an experience they could observe at first hand.

Hanyuan Aviation also joined the anniversary celebration as a special sponsor, bringing aviation-themed experiences to the carnival. Alongside natural science activities, creative art and innovative paints, the programme extended from aviation to art, and from observation to hands-on creation.

Students could marvel at the flying car, express their imagination through creative painting, take part in interactive games or discover more about the natural world. By bringing aviation, technology, art, food and games together on campus, the carnival created opportunities for different interests to meet.

Nine years ago, Mr. Lü Jianjun, founder of Shenzhen Merchiston International School (MIS), witnessed a touching scene at the school’s UK sister school: its then Headmaster, Andrew Hunter, stood at the school gate on crutches to welcome students, knowing each child by name. This genuine care became a powerful expression of MIS’s guiding philosophy: “Educating with Love.”

Nine years on, this founding spirit remains unchanged.
