Nowal Nasir holds a degree in English and Creative Writing from Harvard University Extension School and a Master’s in Education from the University of Oxford, where she specialized in Educational Research. With extensive travel and work experience, she has worked at University Guidance Counsellor and English Teacher in diverse locations including Hong Kong (China), China Mainland, Cambodia, and Canada.

Her interests are deeply rooted in theatre, fiction writing, and educational research, particularly focusing on the impact of digital technology on teaching and learning in secondary schools. As a certified NSDA coach, Nowal passionately integrates Public Forum debating and Original Oratory into her classes, fostering critical thinking and communication skills among her students.

In her free time, Nowal enjoys reading, theatre, and she has been actively leading workshops in women’s fiction writing, empowering aspiring writers to find their voice.
