Education:  B.A. in Hispanic Studies, M.A. in Social Sciences, CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), Spanish DELE C1, iPGCE (International Postgraduate Certificate in Education; in progress)

Zhen received her Bachelor’s degree from Boston College and her Master’s from the University of Chicago. She is thankful for her liberal arts education and her diverse experiences living and studying in the U.S., Latin America, and other parts of the world. Before joining MIS, Zhen had worked in a university and a bilingual school. As a result of her own experiences, Zhen enjoys an interdisciplinary approach to language learning and teaching. In her free time, she finds joy in going to a good concert, musical, or art exhibition, as well as hiking, travelling, and crafting.
