Don Lyu

Mr. Don Lyu has a master degree in Learning Disabilities from Northwestern University (USA) and had lived and worked in America for ten years. His professional goal is to use modern education and psychological theories to promote effective acquisition of language and mathematics skills among children, so that they can be well prepared for college life and future career. 
Mr. Lyu has been awarded a certificate for speech and language pathologist from ICHP and CGFNS. He has in-depth knowledge and successful experience in speech sound correction, ESL and academic English teaching, and public speaking coaching. 
Mr. Lyu holds a high school maths teaching qualification and had taught maths and served as a homeroom teacher at Lakeshore Schools Chicago. He is familiar with A-LEVEL maths and further maths and has trained students to participate in mathematics competitions such as the AMC8/10/12 and achieved excellent results. Mr. Lyu has also carried out original research on how to help students to overcome maths learning difficulties. 
Finally, Mr. Lyu has been involved in the development and execution of innovative curriculum. He has been teaching Extended Project Qualification and Media Production CCAs and has achieved significant results.
