YUNJIA BI, BA, TEFL, Teacher Qualification Certificate (High School English)

Originally from China, Yunjia holds a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Chinese High School English Teaching Certificate, and TEFL certification. She began her career teaching English and international test preparation before transitioning into international education five years ago.

Currently serving as Head Librarian at MIS, Yunjia is passionate about holistic education and believes that reading plays a key role in fostering a growth mindset and lifelong learning. She actively promotes reading culture within the school and has led a number of whole-school initiatives, including a student-led Library Ambassador Program aimed at building a strong reading community.

Yunjia speaks both Mandarin and English and has worked in both China and the United States. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, watching movies, and exploring good food. She looks forward to contributing her experience and enthusiasm to help make MIS an even better place for students.
