Nationality: Chinese

Brian is an experienced IELTS teacher and holds a MA degree in Translation and Interpreting from University of New South Wales. He has been teaching for about 13 years and specialised, exclusively, in IELTS. Having worked with adults and young learners of various levels in schools and universities, Brian is good at recognising their needs and using language assessments to guide his teaching. Though Brian was already a qualified teacher in China, with the aim of furthering professional development, he completed PGDE in Western Australia and became a member of Teacher Registration Board (TRB) in 2017.

Brian was born and bred in Northeastern China, so he is passionate about winter sports and Korean Chinese cuisine. He is a regular gym goer and enjoys road trips and nature.
