Ms. Susan Wu got her Master’s degree from Beijing Normal University. She has more than 20 years of DP Chemistry teaching experience and has management experience in IB PYP, MYP and DP continuum education for around 10 years. She is alsovery experienced in A-level, AP as well as IGCSE curriculum. Ms. Wu is an IB examiner, workshop leader, reader and school visit member. Her DPgraduates’ results have far exceeded the world average. The students have been all over the world, including Ivy League and top universities in UK such as Oxford and Cambridge University. Ms. Wu has worked as IB coordinator, founding principal, Chinese head of school in several IB world schools which locate in cities such as Guangzhou, Changsha and Beijing etc. Her hobbies are sports (hiking, cycling, table tennis, volleyball), music and dance etc. She believes that education in the global context should focus on conceptual understanding of learning and cultivate the student to cope with changes in an uncertainty situation.
