Mr Lyu was graduated from Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business where he completed his EMBA in 2009. He was a parent of Merchiston Castle School as well as the founder and investor of MIS. In 2012, Mr Lyu accompanied his eldest son, Alex to study in MCS. After being exposed to the excellent British education in MCS, he dreamed of opening an overseas campus of Merchiston in China. In the following four years, Mr Lyu had done a lot of communications with Governors of MCS and research on site. Thanks to his passion and persistent pursuit of his dream, Mr Lyu finally signed an agreement with. Merchiston Castle School as an investor on June 11 2017 in Edinburgh. The same year, Mr Lyu and his family moved to Shenzhen for establishing MIS.  Before the decision to devote the rest of his life to education, Mr Lyu had worked in mineral development, real estate and shopping mall development and operation, and the development of household goods shopping center. He always reminds himself of staying committed to his goal of providing first-class international education and an option of Lighthouse Model for children in Shenzhen and enabling them to improve their knowledge of art and study at international universities.

Mr Lyu is a life-long learner. In his spare time, he likes reading and running. He also highly values his family and will spend his free time traveling to different cities with the family and children.
