Daven holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Computer Science and Technology from Zhejiang University of Technology and earned Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through the University of Derby. He most recently served as Head of Mathematics and a Grade 5 teacher at Huangguang Oxbridge Primary School in Guangzhou, where he taught across Grades 1 to 5 and played a key role in curriculum delivery and departmental leadership.

With a strong background in technology, Daven is passionate about integrating digital tools into the classroom to enhance learning and engagement. His teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that every student is a unique individual with their own strengths, interests, and learning styles. He is dedicated to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to reach their full potential.

Outside the classroom, Daven is an avid gym-goer and enthusiastic sports fan who enjoys promoting the benefits of physical activity and well-being among students.
