Education Background:

Frances holds a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Manchester (2:1) and is completing her PGCEi with the University of Warwick (expected June 2026). She also holds a TEFL certification.

Frances is a passionate science educator from the United Kingdom, currently serving as a Graduate Assistant at North London Collegiate School Jeju, where she is completing her PGCEi in Chemistry. She brings a strong academic background in biochemistry combined with hands-on teaching experience across both UK and international school settings.

At North London Collegiate School Jeju, Frances has taken on significant responsibilities including long-term lesson planning, adaptive teaching, behaviour management, and assessment design. She has also played a strong pastoral role in the 6th form boarding house, supporting students through their IB journey. She has collaborated with the house team on event planning and parent communications, including creating the house newsletter. Her involvement extends to extracurricular activities, where she has supported both sports (including football) and academic programmes such as Oxbridge and medical interview preparation in the sciences.

Prior to her current role, Frances worked at St Catherine's Bramley in the UK, where she gained experience across multiple boarding houses for Years 7–13, creating a safe and supportive environment for boarders. She worked within the Biology and Chemistry departments, observing and delivering lessons, and also served as an assistant house tutor, deepening her understanding of pastoral care and the importance of house spirit. Her experience across both prep and senior schools has equipped her with the skills to engage students of different age groups effectively.

Frances holds a 2:1 BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Manchester and is currently completing her PGCEi with the University of Warwick (expected completion June 2026). She has also completed a range of professional development courses, including Child Protection Refresher, Reflective Safeguarding Practice, First Aid, Pastoral Care, and Children's Mental Wellbeing, reflecting her commitment to student welfare and holistic education.
