Tingting grew up immersed in traditional Chinese music, coming from a family deeply rooted in the performing arts. Her grandmother and mother were both accomplished performers of a heritage Chinese opera. Tingting pursued her passion for music by earning a BA in Vocal Performance in China, followed by a Master of Music from the University of Queensland, Australia.

With experience as a teaching assistant for Secondary Arts at an international school, Tingting also served as the vocal director for two English musical productions, performed at Shenzhen’s MIXC Theater in the summer of 2022. She holds a National Elementary School Music Teacher’s Certificate, an IBDP certificate in teaching and learning, and an International Post Graduate Certificate of Education (iPGCE).

Tingting is passionate about teaching children, nurturing their love for singing, and encouraging them to express themselves through music creation. Her musical interests span various genres, including traditional music, Jazz, Reggae.
