Tingting grew up in a family of traditional Chinese music. Her grandmother and mother were both national level performers of a heritage Chinese opera. She got her BA in Vocal Performance in China, and then continued her studies and earned her Master of Music at the University of Queensland in Australia. Tingting worked as a teaching assistant of Secondary Arts in an international school. She was the music director of two teenagers’ English musical plays which was presented in Shenzhen’s MIXC Theater in the Summer of 2022. She holds a National Elementary School Music Teacher’s Certificate, an IBDP certificate in teaching and learning, and she will get iPGCE when she is to finish her study at the University of Sheffield in 2023. She loves traditional music, Jazz, Reggae and is a big fan of Bollywood musical movies.
