Ellis, more commonly referred to by her nickname Ellis, holds a B.S in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and M.S in Psychology from California Coast University.

From a young age, Ellis has always found herself in teaching positions. From tutoring her classmates to volunteering in youth correctional facilities, she has always found her way back to teaching. In her adult life, she worked in nursery school in the US. Upon moving to China, she found herself in various English teaching roles from teaching 3 year olds to teaching university. With over 5 years of professional experience, Ellis has curated her own teaching style filled with movement, activity, and hands-on learning. Ellis is highly passionate about project-based learning and utilizes an extensive variety of projects in lessons.
