The first week of the new academic year at MIS (Merchiston International School), was filled with enthusiasm and vitality, bringing a series of unforgettable experiences for students and teachers alike. In the two weeks leading up to the start of the new semester, MIS organized a two-week orientation program aimed at helping new and returning teachers better align with the school's educational philosophy while the staff accustomed themselves to the local culture.

Simultaneously, new teachers participated in a unique clan allocation activity, which not only enhanced team cohesion but also allowed each teacher to deeply feel the warmth and close-knit community of the school.

The exciting culmination of the orientation program and tribal allocation activity was the staff party hosted by MIS at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center's M1833 City Member Club.

Following that, MIS meticulously prepared the New Student Welcome Day event, attracting students from all over the world to gather here. Students, dressed in vibrant attire, came with anticipation and excitement for the new academic year, congregating at MIS, infusing this century-old institution with renewed vitality. The school motto, "Ready Ay Ready" inspires each student to thrive and grow within the framework of an authentic British holistic education, daring to reach the pinnacle of excellence and color their life with a myriad of experiences.

In the first week of the new academic year, school teachers actively engaged in helping students swiftly adapt to the rhythm of academic life. Every morning at 7:30, the school entrance would see the presence of the Head of Seniors Mark personally welcoming the day students with warm greetings.

In addition to its rich academic curriculum, MIS also offers a wide range of Co Curriculum Activities (CCA) that provide students with diverse development opportunities. During the first week of the new academic year, the school organized a CCA Fair, featuring activities spanning from fun football, paper cutting, to sailing and skiing, covering various fields to allow each student to explore and showcase their talents and potential in areas of their interest.

紧接着，曼校精心准备了学生迎新日活动，吸引了来自世界各地的学子汇聚于此。学生们身着鲜艳的服装，怀揣着对新学年的憧憬和雀跃，从星辰之间聚集到曼校，为这座百年名校注入了勃勃生机。主题口号“Ready Ay Ready，为未来而来”鼓舞着每位学子，在纯正的英式全人教育中茁壮成长，勇攀卓越之巅，将人生书写得斑斓多彩。
