Responsibilities
• Advises and counsels students regarding academic, educational, social, and emotional problems.
• Provides individual student planning and responsive services to support students and their families regarding academic matters.
• Teaches guidance classes and provides guidance counseling to students through planned activities in small group or classroom settings to convey educational, social, and important school information, and offers workshops/seminars for parents.
• Consults facilitates and maintains communication with parents, teachers, administrators on specific student and parent academic and educational matters including academic modifications and/or accommodations.
• Provides feedback and recommends appropriate action and solutions to individual student’s academic and educational needs and abilities.
• Identifies students who may need targeted or intensive services, and coordinates with the Head of boarding and pastoral care.
• Supports and attends appropriate student activities and events.
• Maintaining records as required.
Qualifications/Skills
• Desire and ability to work with students at the specified age level with diverse backgrounds and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational goals.
• Ability to organise tasks and manage time to meet many and varied deadlines and communicate effectively with students, parents, school administrators and other staff, including the ability to discuss topics which may be sensitive.
• Working familiarity with student assessment tools, especially in evaluating and interpreting standardised test results.
Requirements
• Master’s Degree in Counseling/Guidance, Education, or Social Work
• Minimum of 2 year of school counseling or teaching experience
• A state-issued license or certification
• Understanding and familiarity with computer applications and word processing functions

Responsibilities
Manage the School library, to manage, develop and promote the library within MIS. In order to ensure that an effective resource and information service is provided to the MIS community.
• Perform library procedures, such as checking in and checking out materials, registering students.
• Manage the library with reference questions and direct students to suitable resources.
• Manage Purchasing supplies.
• Maintain library records.
• Manage the receiving of shipments to the library.
• Manage library materials.
• Create high standard library programmes and displays that support the needs of the school community and promote the library as a safe place for study and leisure.
• Liaises with parent helpers, training library volunteers, and student library prefects.
• Manage students with mechanical operations of library equipment.
• Promote and foster reading.

• Participate in continuing professional development.
• Perform any other duties as may be required by the Head of School, for the benefit of the school.
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree, Library relevant major.
• Relevant working experience is required.

Special Conditions
A suitable candidate will hold appropriate certification as a School librarian or will be working towards a certification in Librarianship/School Librarianship. Bilingual candidates required. Candidates must be computer literate, have excellent people skills and previous experience working with children and teenagers from different cultures in a school environment. Candidates must demonstrate a positive attitude towards reading and research.

Assist the art teachers to prepare the classroom, teaching tools and organise various academic activities.
Responsibilities
• Prepare and arrange the classroom before class
• Make detailed records of teaching supplies for the art department and make timely supplementary purchases
• Maintain all equipment in the art classroom

As a teaching assistant, the job holder will undertake duties in support of the work of theteaching staff of the school. The precise duties will be determined by the Head of Juniors consistent with the main areas of responsibility set out below. Main duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• The preparation of materials and equipment (if needed) for lessons. Work alongside and under the guidance of the lead teacher, supporting access to students’ learning and the management of the classroom.
• To encourage the social, emotional and personal development of each student. Working alongside the teacher to prepare and maintain the classroom environment. Supervising the behaviour of students in the classroom and during school related activities.

Requirements
