Background

The Global Honors High School Student Exchange Program (Roan Program), held successfully in Beijing, Boston, and New York in 2018, 2019, and 2023, respectively, brings together Chinese and international middle and high school students along with undergraduates from Tsinghua, Harvard, MIT, and others. The program aims to foster cross-cultural understanding and provide insights into China's development.

Active participation from Tsinghua undergraduates enhances students' experiential understanding of Tsinghua University. This initiative aims to present a more innovative, international, humanistic, and composed side of Tsinghua, creating opportunities for outstanding global middle and high school students to understand and potentially pursue undergraduate and graduate studies at Tsinghua in the future.

Purpose

Through a 4-week summer program at Tsinghua, Harvard, Wall Street, and MIT, the aim is to identify the diverse and personalized developmental needs of Chinese and American high school students. The program intends to cultivate mutual understanding of cultural differences between China and the United States, fostering cross-cultural awareness.

Furthermore, the program seeks to enhance students' proficiency in science, technology, business, culture, and the arts while developing their abilities for independent growth and collaborative communication.

Founded in 1957, Harvard Student Agencies is a non-profit with 12 businesses across various industries that pro- vides educational and business opportunities to students. Managers get the chance to learn about retail, publishing, research, advertising, engineering and more, while making a tangible impact on the Harvard community. Kemsley Education Inc

Kemsley Education Inc. , based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, is contributing in some small way to making the world a smaller place by helping Chinese and Americans to understand each other better. The group organizes edu- cation and cultural exchanges and conferences, and helps build partnerships between the most prestigious universi- ties and private schools in the US and China.

Kemsley Academy (KA), based in western Massachusetts, helps international students from China succeed in board- ing schools across New England. KA’s dedicated staff ensures both the schools and the students get the support they need throughout the school year.

Kemsley Academy Beijing (KA Beijing), based in Beijing, China, is an American-style boarding school focused on

preparing students in China to enter university in the US.

营地目的

通过暑期在清华、哈佛、华尔街+麻省理工4周的学习，找到学生个性化、多样化发展的需求，培养中美高中学生对中美文化差异的互相理解，培养其跨文化意识。提高学生的科技、商业、文化、艺术素养，培养学生自主发展能力和合作沟通能力。

Kemsley Education Inc简介

美国柯斯理教育集团 ( Kemsley Education Inc, 以下简称 KED)是由一批熟悉热爱中美教育的专业人士及教育专家于2005年创立。KED 致力于研究中美初、高中的教育异同，以个性化及精细化服务中美学生。

柯斯理以培养中国学生的英语思维能力及美国学生的汉语思维能力为己任，与北师大附属实验中学共同研发了契合中国学生的核心课程ACE（American Course Education)。与中国教育部旗下汉语考试机构

（HSK）在波士顿地区成立汉语学测中心，服务美国学子。

柯斯理有熟悉美中教育的管理团队，热爱教育的中美老师及教育顾问。KED 已服务了上千位中国籍学生前往美国及上百美国学生前往中国留学与交流。作为较早专注中美基础教育交流研究的机构，KED 既积极与中国各地教育机构及有志为中美教育出力的中方研究人员合作，也积极与在美国新英格兰地区的各教育团体合作。
