6月6日,深圳蛇口希尔顿南海酒店宾朋满座,大湾区国际教育名家与科创行业翘楚齐聚一堂,共同见证深圳曼彻斯通城堡学校AI未来学院全球发布会圆满举行。
作为大湾区首个将英式全人教育与AI体系深度融合的特色学院,它的正式落地,既是深圳曼校深耕大湾区八载的里程碑,更是蛇口敢为人先的创新精神在AI时代的全新延续。

硬核成绩,锚定创办AI学院的初心
回望1979年,蛇口开山炮鸣响,掀开改革开放的奋进篇章;2018 年,拥有近200年办学历史的曼彻斯通城堡学校落地大湾区,八年深耕,搭建起学术卓越,最具温暖的英式全人教育生态,完善全阶段K12英式课程体系。
2026申请季,曼校硕果累累,毕业生摘获了186封世界名校录取Offer,其中牛剑双收,G5/港前三名校录取率超70%。
与此同时,在2026汇丰·福布斯中国国际化学校评选中,曼校中学部荣膺深圳纯英式赛道第一名,并荣获“深圳卓越外籍人员子女学校”称号(全市仅两所)。

整场发布会围绕育人初心循序展开,从文艺展演、大咖分享到生态颁奖,层层铺展曼校 AI教育布局蓝图。
活动开篇,曼校学子以钢琴、法国圆号分别弹奏了《You Raise Me Up》《Fly Me to The Moon》,悠扬乐曲落地,将曼校纯正的英式全人教育理念具象呈现。

深圳时代灯塔教育集团董事局主席、深圳曼校创始人吕建军登台致辞,结合八年办学经历与蛇口开拓精神,推出独创十力育人模型。
以生命力为核心,愿力、心力、爱力为基石,六大综合能力协同发展,清晰划定办学方向:曼校AI教育绝非单纯的编程补习,而是以爱为底色、AI为助力,培育兼具人文温度、能够驾驭科技的国际化新生代。
随后,宇树人形机器人带来了趣味科技秀,硬核算法搭配灵动动作,直观展现人工智能的魅力。

紧随表演,深圳曼校执行校长、AI未来学院院长Benjamin Webster正式官宣AI未来学院成立。他介绍道,学生在学习IGCSE和A-Level核心课程之余,还将配备专属AI导师,学习高阶AI课程,并有机会深入大湾区头部科技企业参与一线实践。
依托母校两百年英式办学底蕴与丰富教育资源,学院面向10至13年级开启招生,首届限额60人,实行精品小班教学。
目前已有毕业生斩获港大AI王牌专业录取(全球仅24个名额),并拿下高额奖学金,以真实升学数据佐证办学优势。

随后,深圳曼校首席技术官杨秋实登台现场演示了自研学生成长大数据平台与AI MIS智慧教育中枢,平台依托大数据生成学生专属成长画像,实现学情诊断、风险预警、个性化升学规划一站式落地。
目前学校已规划盘古、达摩、星火等六大特色AI实验班,联动头部科技企业资源,定制分层科创培养方案。
科大讯飞、优必选企业代表也立足行业视角,围绕AI入校落地、机器人科创课程共建分享前沿思路。

区别于市面上偏重技能速成的AI培训班,曼校AI未来学院跳出工具化培养误区,打造大湾区独有的教育新范式。
以全人教育为底盘、英式学术为根基、AI技术为抓手、产学研生态为支撑,实行启蒙—跨学科创造—科研冲刺三阶培养,搭配四类导师全程护航,设立不唯分数的图灵奖学金,锚定“不培养AI操作工,培育未来创造者”的终极目标。
从蛇口开山拓荒到AI教育破局,深圳曼校用八年沉淀交出了一份面向智能化时代的教育答卷。如今,AI未来学院正式对外开放报名。

On 6 June, the Hilton Shenzhen Shekou Nanhai was filled with distinguished guests – leading figures in international education and tech innovation from the Greater Bay Area gathered together to witness the successful global launch of the MIS AI Future Academy.
As the first academy in the region to deeply integrate British holistic education with an AI framework, its official launch is both a milestone after eight years of dedicated work by MIS in the Greater Bay Area and a new continuation of Shekou’s pioneering, innovative spirit in the age of AI.

Strong Results –
The Foundation for an AI Academy
Looking back, the 1979 blast at Shekou fired the starting gun for China’s reform and opening‑up. In 2018, Merchiston International School, with nearly 200 years of history, came to Shenzhen. Over eight years, it has built an academically excellent and warmly supportive British boarding education ecosystem, and a complete K12 British curriculum.
In the 2026 application season, MIS graduates achieved outstanding results: 186 offers from world‑leading universities, including both Oxford and Cambridge, with an admission rate of over 70% to G5 universities and Hong Kong’s top three institutions.
At the same time, in the 2026 HSBC · Forbes China International School Selection, MIS was ranked first among pure British international schools in Shenzhen and was named an “Outstanding School for Expatriate Children” – one of only two in the city. These figures and honours are not meant to prove “being the strongest”, but to show that MIS has been doing the right thing – enabling students to stand on the crest of the technological wave rather than be swept away by it. That is precisely why the school created the AI Future Academy.
From Music to Robotics – The Essence of Holistic Education

The launch event unfolded step by step around the school’s original educational purpose, moving from musical performances to expert speeches and awards, gradually revealing MIS’s AI education blueprint.
It opened with students performing “You Raise Me Up” and “Fly Me to The Moon” on piano and trumpet – the beautiful music gave a vivid picture of MIS’s authentic British holistic education.

Mr. Lyu Jianjun, Chairman of the Times Lighthouse Group and founder of MIS, took the stage. Drawing on his eight years of experience and the pioneering spirit of Shekou, he introduced his original “Ten Forces” model of education. With vitality at the centre, and aspiration, heart and love as the foundation, six other comprehensive abilities develop together. He made clear that MIS’s AI education is not simply about coding; it is about nurturing a new generation of internationally minded young people who combine human warmth with the ability to master technology – with love as the foundation and AI as the enabler.
Then came a lively robotics show from Unitree, demonstrating the charm of AI through precise, elegant movements.

Soon after, Benjamin Webster, Executive Head of MIS and Dean of the AI Future Academy, officially announced the launch of the Academy. He explained that in addition to studying the core IGCSE and A-Level curriculum, students will have dedicated AI coaches, access to advanced AI courses, and opportunities to gain hands-on industry experience with leading AI companies across the Greater Bay Area. Drawing on the school’s 200‑year British heritage and educational resources, the Academy will open for Years 10‑13, with an initial intake limited to 60 students in small classes. Current MIS students have already won places on HKU’s highly selective AI programme (only 24 places worldwide) and received substantial scholarships – real data that proves the school’s strength.

Building an AI Education

No school can succeed alone. At the event, MIS presented Annual Outstanding Partner awards to dozens of educational partners, forging deep links that connect classroom learning, innovation training and industrial practice – together building a new AI education ecosystem in the Greater Bay Area.

Yang Qiushi, MIS’s Chief Technology Officer, then demonstrated the school’s in‑house Student Growth Big Data Platform and AIMIS Smart Education Hub. The platform uses big data to generate personalised student growth profiles, providing one‑stop academic diagnosis, risk alerts and individualised university planning.
The school has already planned six specialised AI classes (Pangu, Damo, Xinghuo, etc.), working with leading technology companies to deliver tiered innovation training programmes. Representatives from iFLYTEK and UBTECH also shared their perspectives on bringing AI into schools and co‑developing robotics courses.

Henry, a student representative, gave a compelling English presentation on how he uses AI to help with coding. He offered three golden rules: never share personal information, understand the limits of the model you are using, and never let AI make major decisions for you.

In a roundtable discussion, another student, Kaman, argued that “creativity, empathy and critical thinking are things AI can never replace.” Joseph, a parent, compared AI to nuclear energy: “Technology itself is neither good nor bad; it all depends on how we use and regulate it.”

A New Educational Paradigm –
Not Operators, but Creators
Unlike short‑term, skills‑driven AI training courses that are common in the market, the MIS AI Future Academy offers a distinctive education model: holistic education as the chassis, British academics as the foundation, AI as the tool, and an industry‑university ecosystem as the support. It follows a three‑stage pathway – foundation, interdisciplinary creation, and research sprint – with four types of mentors guiding students throughout.
The Turing Scholarship looks beyond exam scores to reward innovation and passion. The ultimate goal is clear: not to train AI operators, but to cultivate future creators.
From the first blast at Shekou to the breakthrough of AI education, MIS has delivered an answer to the age of intelligence through eight years of solid work.
The AI Future Academy is now open for enrolment. We remain committed to “Love & AI”, helping children develop empathy, judgement and creativity that AI can never replicate – so that they can stand firm and confident in a changing world. As the launch event’s theme declares: Accompanying Children into the Unknown – this is MIS’s enduring promise.
